I am a senior at St.Paul Academy & Summit School, MN. During my free time, I like to play tennis and make music. Through this project, I hope to challenge stereotypes and offer a nuanced portrayal of this marginalized community. I want to bring a voice to the Asian immigrant community in the US. engaged.

I’m a sophomore at Great Neck South High School, NY. My hobbies include playing soccer and playing guitar. Through this project, I hope to increase awareness about the U.S. immigration process. Borderless (American) Dreams will allow us to reflect on our current privileges as well as encouraging immigrants to voice and confront obstacles.

Victoria Li
My name is Victoria Li, and I’m a freshman at The Harker School, CA. My hobbies include singing and learning about foreign languages. I joined the Borderless (American) Dreams project to help amplify the voices of immigrants and share their experiences. It is important to understand the immigrants around us more deeply, and build a stronger sense of community. I believe that everyone has a story to tell and that we should embrace it.

I'm a sophomore at De Anza College, CA. I love to pet dogs and cats, they are so cute. I have many hobbies, but none of them last long, such as soccer, Beijing Opera, and antique Chinese songs. I've seen such a hard journey of first-generation immigrants in the U.S., and I'm determined to bring these moving and inspiring stories to more people through this project.

I’m a sophomore at Lynbrook High school, CA. My hobbies include playing computer games and doing math. As an immigrant who came to the US not for a long time, I had a lot of empathy while writing the stories and learning from them. Furthermore, this project encouraged me to help voice the immigrant community.

From this project, I have learned many important lessons witnessing the struggles these immigrants faced. As an immigrant who came to the US for just several months, Borderless (American) Dreams encourages me to help these people.

I'm a freshman currently at Lynbrook High School, CA. Some of my favorite school things to do are hanging out with friends, playing tennis, and learning science. During my free time, I like to draw, listen to music and audiobooks, and take pictures. I love to write in any genre. Through Borderless (American) Dreams, I hope more people can hear the unique stories of immigrants and sympathize to understand them better.
